Format: Open Group lecture and discussion
Focus: Provides information on the disease concept, denial and manifestations of the disease, impact on life
functioning, and healthy support systems.
Length: Minimum of 12 sessions
GROUP THERAPY I and II

Format: Open Group - Processing
Focus: Identifying family of origin issues that continue to effect healthy functioning, addressing relapse triggers,
behavioral challenges and development of healthy coping skills.
Length: Minimum of 12 sessions
GROUP THERAPY III
Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Facilitator: Kate Rosenmeier, ACSW C.A.C.A.D
Format: Open Group - Processing - Experiential
Focus: Based upon concept that maladaptive attitudes and behaviors evolve from trauma, this gender blended
group explores identification and resolution of trauma events and responses that hinder self-acutalization
and recovery.
Length: Open
WOMEN'S GROUP
Monday: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Facilitator: Tracy Jackson, Case Mgr.
Format: Group - Processing
Focus: Designed to address gender specific sensitive issues in a safe supportive environment. Topics include
sexual abuse, self esteem, development of a recovering female profile, parenthood, healthy relationships,
and utilizing community resources.
Length: Open
MEN'S GROUP
Monday:
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Facilitator: RICH VANVLACK, B.A. C.A.C.A.D.
Format: Group - Processing
Focus: Designed to address gender specific sensitive issues in a safe supportive environment. Topics include
sexual abuse, self esteem, anger, relationships, communication skills, parenthood, and development of a
healthy recovering male profile.
Length: Open
CONTINUING CARE
Wednesday:
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Facilitator: Tracy Jackson, Case Mgr.
Format: Open Group - Discussion
Focus: This group is designed for individuals who have successfully completed the first phase of treatment.
It is a vital treatment component as it allows continued support to aid in adjusting behaviors, thoughts and
responses to daily living. Clients address recovery related issues such as personal progress/struggles, 12-
Step meeting attendance, sponsor contact and employment opportunities.
Length: 3 to 6 months
YOUNG ADULT PROGRAM
Monday and Wednesday:
3:00 PM-4:30 PM
Facilitator: Shaun Abshier, Case Mgr
Format: Open Group/Education/Process/Family component
Focus: To provide substance abuse education and an avenue for enhancement of
life/coping skills with a family component to young people between the ages
of 12-18.
Length: 3 to 6 months
