Indiana Addictions Issues Coalition (IAIC)

IAIC educates and advocates on behalf of people with addictive disorders, those in recovery and for those who have not yet found recovery.
  • They believe that addiction is a treatable disease, treatment is effective, and that long term recovery is possible.
  • Their goals are to increase access to treatment, reduce stigma through public education, and provide a recovering voice to influence public policy.
  • Their mission is to promote recovery through advocacy, education, and service.
It is critical that we start defining recovery because in our silence we have allowed others to define us and they have done so incorrectly. Join IAIC as we work together to change minds, attitudes, and beliefs about addiction and recovery here in Indiana.
