On Saturday, April 13, the Bloomington community came together to raise awareness for mental health and addiction through a hair show, interactive art, and live music. Proceeds supported Amethyst House and Mental Health America of Monroe County. Below, Amethyst House staff and friends participated in the hair show.
Dodging addiction
Thank you to Beta Sigma Psi for hosting the second annual Dodging Addiction dodgeball tournament for Amethyst House! On Friday, April 5th, IU students from across campus took part in a day of fun, fundraising, and spreading awareness about addiction in our community. This year they surpassed their fundraising goal and raised $12,866.91 for Amethyst House!

Rotary Club Volunteer Day
On Saturday, September 15, Rotary Club volunteers joined Amethyst House in a day of volunteering. Together, we painted the interior of the Women's Recovery Residence and prepared for the upcoming treatment upgrades funded through the Rotary Club Grant awarded to Amethyst House for over $7,000.
